Remember your sticker books as a kid, in the 80s? Oh man, I sure do. My summers were often spent hanging with my cousins at my Great Aunt’s lake house.
Our days would be filled with swimming, fishing, playing Space Invaders, reading comics and trading stickers. I can still recall my sticker album. Everything was happily displayed and neatly organized by the many sticker categories that were in existence then. Deep breath. There were:
Totally 80s saying ones. Puffy ones. Scratch n’ sniff ones. Unicorn ones. Food ones. Cartoon ones; like Care Bears, The Smurfs, PacMan, Cabbage Patch Kids, Rainbow Brite, Sesame Street, ThunderCats, HeMan, She-Ra, Disney, Star Wars, Ninten-
Sorry, I lost my breath, but you get the idea. We had A LOT of stickers to choose from and trade with!
I thought about these memories the other day with the 4th of July coming up and a light bulb suddenly went off. I’m drawing again. I can now create my own stickers?!
I looked into sites that would be the best start for me and my sticker designing venture. So, guess what boys and girls? Guess who has a RedBubble page now and offering stickers?
THIS LADY!
Not only do they have stickers, here, but I can place my artwork on a whole slew of products. You know, one could say I have a ‘Robin’s Nest’ of items with my artwork now on them. (wink)
You want in on the stickers? Feel free to visit the page!
