About Robin

To tell you a little bit about myself, I am born and raised in Connecticut.  I graduated Central Connecticut State University with a BA in Graphic/Informational Design and served in the Air National Guard.  Many years of design agencies and small business life followed with countless website designs and interactive projects, but I secretly missed my drawing.

I then made the decision to become a freelancer and really hone in on my artistic specialties. Over the past few years, I have been veering my graphic design projects in a more illustrative direction. Along with my professional design changes, I have also been getting more commissions that fit my art aesthetic of retro love and pop culture. I created my brand identity around those topics with celebrating my childhood me as my brand mark and calling myself, GeekGalGO.

To round up my graphic design work, I also teach part-time at Asnuntuck Community College.  These life altering changes have now helped me become the strong, confident and super-fun illustrative artist I have always wanted to be!  It also helped with a desire to share my nerdy love for retro pop culture with the rest of the universe.
