I have been feeling a little down lately. After dropping Nathanael off from school, I decided to go into the bagel shoppe and grab some breakfast. I have written about the unique way that our local bagel joint puts their customers in the queue (by using playing cards) and how it cosmically affects me. Today, was no different.
I had received the Seven of Diamonds. While waiting for my order, I thought to look up this card’s meaning. It symbolizes artistic flair, a love for nature and social charm among others. That sounds about right :)
The Seven of Diamonds also has a creative counterpart, the Jack of Clubs. For those of you that might have seen my other post about 6 months ago, my other card I had received was…you guessed it…the Jack of Clubs.
When these two cards come into alignment, it is said that it will help with balance. Since my leg injury and not being able to get out on the trails, I have been needing a little Yin and Yang in my life.
When I got home, I had noticed an email with the subject line, “Graphic Design Class”. It was from a student looking to get into a local community college graphic design class. She was deciding which one course to take before she moved on to a university, to continue her art degree. There were a couple of courses she could have easily taken, but the student felt that my class would guide her the most. I was touched and felt a serge of excitement and happiness to help this young student start her graphic design journey.
Was it a cosmic sign that I had been given the cards of creativity and balance, this year? Maybe, it’s a little message from a certain angelic brother, letting me know art has got my back?
Or, is it just a crazy coincidence? I switched on the TV to enjoy my bagel and coffee. The Naruto episode that came on was about the random act of cards that are received and how they help guide us through the Qi of Life...
Definitely, not a coincidence. BELIEVE IT!
